created ELA?
Dr. Bill
Swan created ELA—Educational Leadership Associates, Inc..
He has provided technical assistance to over 150 educational
organizations across the county over the past 35 years.
2. Who
are the target audiences for your services?
ELA focuses
exclusively on schools, school districts, state departments
of education, and professional education organizations.
3. How
experienced are the consultants?
Many
consultants have over 20 years of experience in public
education in multiple roles, e.g., teacher, assistant
principal, principal, system coordinator, assistant/deputy
superintendent, superintendent. The Cadre of Consultants
includes individuals with experience at the
federal/national, state, regional, and local school/school
system levels in regular education, Title I, special
education, and related areas. The vita of individual
consultants are available on request. Dr. Swan’s vita is
contained in the “Cadre of Consultants”.
4. How
are consultants selected for providing technical assistance?
Consultants
are selected based on a match between the needs of the
requesting organization and the expertise of the consultants
in collaboration with the requesting organization.
5. Do
you have references from those to whom you have provided
consultation?
Yes. Based
on the particular services sought, a specific set of
references can be provided.
6. How
do you determine what services will be provided and at what
cost?
Based on a
phone or email inquiry, an individual conversation will be
conducted, preferably face-to-face at no cost to explore the
specific breadth and depth of the need to be addressed and
the resources available. Based on that conversation, a
written proposed agreement is drafted and submitted for
review.
7. How
long has ELA been providing services?
ELA
consultants have been providing consultation services for
the past ten years.
